Cute 'Dessert Inspired Slime'

So I got one of those 'Dessert Inspired Slime' tubs, the one that looked like a little cake. It was really cute when it arrived and smelled pretty good, not too strong. The texture was exactly what I wanted, kinda squishy but still held its shape. Shipping was okay, took about a week to get here. I just wish they had more of those themed ones in stock more often, seemed like they sold out super fast. But yeah, happy with what I got.

Fast delivery, nice slime

Ordered 'Thick and Glossy Slime'. It arrived quickly. The slime was good quality and exactly as pictured on the website. No issues with the order.

Good quality, minor shipping issue

I bought the 'Cloud Slime' and a 'DIY Slime Kit' for my niece's birthday. The quality of the slime itself was really good, very soft and stretchy just like described. The kit had everything needed and the instructions were clear. Shipping took 5 days to reach Denver, which was fine, but the Slime Activator Spray in the kit had leaked a little bit inside the packaging. It wasn't a huge mess, just a minor inconvenience to clean up. Customer service was quick to respond when I messaged them about it, which I appreciated. Overall, a solid purchase, but they could probably improve their packaging for liquids.

hey, anyone know if Slime City B slimes are actually legit? I keep seeing ads but there's so many fake slime shops out there now.

K Kevin 2 months ago

Yeah, they're totally legit. Been around for ages, like since 2016. Always get good quality stuff from them.

N Nina 2 months ago

Can confirm, super legit. My kiddo loves their cloud slimes, always comes perfectly packaged too.

What's the deal with returns if I get a slime I don't like or it's not what I expected?

E Elena 2 months ago

Nah, pretty sure you can't return slime. It's a handmade product so once it's opened or used, it's kinda done.

K Kate Kim 2 months ago

Yeah, you usually can't return slimes because of the nature of the product. Best to make sure it's what you want before ordering. If it's damaged when it arrives though, that's different, you'd probably reach out to their customer service for that.

How do Slime City's slimes compare to say, Snoopslimes? Thinking about trying a new shop.

D David H. 1 month ago

Slime City's stuff is really good, esp their cloud and butter slimes. I'd say they're definitely on par with Snoopslimes for quality, maybe even better scent options. Snoopslimes can be a bit more expensive sometimes too.

W Wendy Carter 1 month ago

I've ordered from both. Slime City has some unique textures I haven't seen elsewhere. Snoopslimes sometimes has cooler charms but for the actual slime, Slime City holds its own for sure. Prices are usually a bit better at Slime City too.

Are their slimes borax-free? My kid has pretty sensitive skin.

F Faith L. 2 months ago

I think most slimes use borax as an activator, so probably not completely borax-free. They do sell borax powder separately so it's a good bet it's in there. Maybe check the product description for specific slimes?

R Rosa Carter 2 months ago

Pretty sure they use borax. If you're worried about stickiness or stiff slime, they sell activator spray and softener, which helps if it gets weird after a while.

can you use more than one discount code at Slime City? I have a restock code and an influencer one and want to double up.

B Ben V. 2 months ago

Nope, sadly you can only use one at a time. It'll only let you apply one at checkout.

S Sophie Patel 2 months ago

I tried that before, didn't work. Gotta pick your best discount, only one coupon per order.

Does anyone know how long shipping usually takes for Slime City? Thinking of ordering some for a birthday next week in California.

E Emma N. 2 months ago

Hmm for California next week that might be cutting it close. I'm on the East Coast and it usually takes like 5-7 business days for me, sometimes a bit more.

J Jared Foster 1 month ago

It really depends. I got an order in like 3-4 days once, but another time it was closer to a week and a half. They don't guarantee super fast shipping afaik.
